Armando Trovajoli’s art is infused with his own intimate passions, which have influenced all his work: Jazz, Johann Sebastian Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. With The Golden Age (Jazz CiTy Records), the Torino Jazz Orchestra pays tribute to the music of the Maestro and his dedication to jazz. The big band conducted by Fulvio Albano, with arrangements by Franco Piana, performs some of the most creative work of Trovajoli in a one-of-a-kind show for jazz orchestra. Also featuring special guest soloists Dino and Franco Piana, Trovajoli’s longtime friends and collaborators who really know how to interpret his music.
