Why did Pier Paolo Pasolini include shots of a jazz jam session in his 1970 documentary Notes on an African Orestes? 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pasolini, and this production provides food for thought on a little-known work by the Italian poet, author and filmmaker, through music, imagery and readings.
