Guido Michelone, music critic and professor of Jazz History at the Conservatory of Alessandria and the University of Milano, presents his recent books Il jazz e i mondi and Il jazz e l’Europa, in which he discusses the reality of a musical genre that, since its inception, has gone beyond the confines of the United States to create its own cosmopolitan identity, transversal sound and message of freedom. He’ll be talking with author Franco Bergoglio.
