Dallarte takes an up-close and personal look at the life and work of late Italian singer and poet Lucio Dalla from an artistic perspective. Photographer Luigi Ghirri hones in on the lesser-known sides of Dalla, a man who truly relished life and living it. Singer-songwriter Angela Baraldi proves her worth with narration par excellence, while visual artist Lorenzo Mattotti helps bring it all together. In Dallarte director Jonny Costantino jazzes-up the documentary format to unleash a free-wheeling, fast-flying and smooth-sailing concoction. Introduction courtesy of journalist Valerio Corzani.
