H 17.00 BLACK VOICES, A seminar by Monica Fabbrini
The evolution of vocal and stylistic techniques from the antebellum cotton plantations to the present. A journey through spirituals, gospel, jazz and soul. The personal trials and tribulations of the great Afro-American voices.

H 18.00 THE CONTINENT OF PANGEA AND THE PENTATONIC SCALE, A seminar by Diego Borotti
Starting point: the refusal of a bizarre theory that emerged in the 1970s. This seminar recounts the “natural” origins of the pentatonic scale and its evolution throughout musical cultures across the globe, all the way up to the birth of blues and jazz.
